Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our website, donating, or engaging with our digital services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Ramah Upliftment Foundation website, forms, donor pages, volunteer pages, or digital services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. About Ramah

Ramah Upliftment Foundation is a registered nonprofit organisation in Ghana (CG064480924) serving widows, orphans, and vulnerable children in Nabdam District, Upper East Region. Our work focuses on an integrated graduation pathway: health and nutrition, education access, savings groups, vocational skills, and market linkages.

3. Use of the Website

You agree to use the website lawfully and respectfully. You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or related systems.
  • Use the website for fraud, abuse, harassment, or unlawful activity.
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with website operations.
  • Copy, scrape, or reuse website content in a way that misrepresents Ramah or violates intellectual property rights.
  • Submit false, misleading, or harmful information.

4. Donations

Donations are voluntary. Ramah uses donations to advance its charitable mission and related operational needs. Where donations are processed online, payment information is handled by the relevant payment provider.

If a donation is made in error — such as a duplicate transaction or incorrect amount — please contact us as soon as possible at info@ramahupliftment.org. Refund decisions may depend on payment provider rules, timing, verification, and whether funds have already been committed.

5. Donor Communications

Donors and supporters may receive receipts, acknowledgements, impact updates, and related communications. Supporters may unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time.

6. Volunteer Applications

Submitting a volunteer form does not guarantee placement. Ramah may screen, accept, decline, pause, or end volunteer involvement based on programme needs, safeguarding standards, role fit, and organisational capacity.

Volunteers must follow Ramah's safeguarding, data protection, communications, and conduct requirements.

7. Programme Information

Website descriptions of programmes, budgets, outputs, timelines, or outcomes are provided for transparency and may change as community needs, funding, permissions, and field realities change. Ramah aims to communicate honestly and update public information when material changes occur.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Ramah owns or has permission to use the text, images, logo, graphics, and other materials on the website. You may share Ramah content for personal, non-commercial support of the mission, provided you do not alter it in a misleading way or imply unauthorised endorsement.

9. Third-Party Links

The website may link to third-party services, funders, data sources, payment processors, social media platforms, or partner websites. Ramah is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites.

11. No Guarantee of Uninterrupted Access

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free content, or complete protection from technical issues outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ramah is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or reliance on website content.
